Every edition above is sold in one of two seat types. They differ in what a seat counts and whether the PC needs a network connection to run.
Fixed Seat
node-locked · runs offlineA seat is a registered PC. You install on as many PCs as you have licenses, and each one runs whenever you want, with no network needed after activation.

Floating Seat
floating · N users at onceA seat is a concurrent session. You install on more PCs than you have licenses — only as many as your license count run Phazic at the same time.

- Each launch checks out a seat from the license server, so a connection is required to start
- Best for a team where many people use Phazic occasionally

Perpetual license vs annual subscription — what's the difference?
A perpetual license is a one-time purchase for the version you buy, with a year of updates and support included; after that, annual maintenance is optional and if you stop paying you keep the last version you received. An annual subscription is billed yearly and always runs the latest release.
How many PCs can I install on?
It depends on the seat type. With Fixed Seats the install count equals the license count — buy 3 licenses and Phazic activates on 3 PCs, each of which runs offline. With Floating Seats you install on more PCs than you have licenses; that install limit is agreed for your order, and only as many PCs as your license count can run at the same time, each launch checking out a seat from the license server. Either way, devices can be released from inside the app (About → Manage devices) when you replace a machine.
What does annual maintenance cover?
Every release published during the maintenance year, plus email support. Lapsed maintenance can be reinstated by covering the missed years plus a small reinstatement fee.
